Privacy policy

Who this covers

This policy covers Aprecity Consultants LLC, Sheridan, Wyoming, USA, and the website at https://www.aprecityconsultants.com. It explains what happens to information you give us here.

It does not cover the separate agreement you sign if you become a client. That contract sets out how we handle your financial records, and it governs where the two overlap.

What we collect

Information you give us. The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, website, roughly what your agency turns over, and which problem you want solved. The form is run for us by our customer relationship provider, and what you enter goes into our records there.

Information collected automatically. Our host records standard server information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This happens for every website and is needed to serve pages and to keep the site secure.

Information from a booking. If you book a call, that booking is handled by our scheduling provider and is subject to their privacy policy as well as this one.

Analytics, only with your consent. Decline and no analytics or advertising scripts load at all.

Financial information. We do not ask for bank details, card numbers or accounting records through this website, and there is no payment form on it. Client financial records are collected under the client agreement through channels agreed with you, not here.

Why we collect it

Contact details are used to answer your enquiry, to arrange and hold a call, and to send information you asked for. Nothing else. We do not sell them, rent them, or add you to a marketing list because you sent a message.

Server information is used to deliver the site, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.

Analytics are used to see which pages are read and where people leave, so the site can be improved, and to measure whether our advertising is working.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the pixel described below, which only runs if you accept.

We use a small number of providers who process information on our behalf: a website host, a customer relationship provider that runs the contact form, a scheduling provider for calls, and the analytics and advertising tools named in the next section. Each may only use what they receive to provide that service to us.

We will disclose information where the law requires it, such as a valid legal request, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the security of the site. If that ever happens we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.

If the business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction. You would be told before it did, and this policy would continue to apply until replaced.

Cookies and tracking

Nothing loads until you choose Accept. Before that point the only thing stored is your consent choice itself, in a first-party cookie, so you are not asked on every page.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a decline. You will not see the banner and nothing will load.

If you accept, two things load. Google Analytics 4 records which pages are viewed, roughly where in the world you are, which site or ad sent you, and what kind of device you used. We use it to see which pages get read and which do not. It is configured with IP anonymisation on and with Google Consent Mode, so storage is denied until you accept.

The Meta Pixel, run by Meta Platforms, records that you visited, which pages you saw, and whether you sent a message or booked a call. We use it to measure whether our advertising works and to stop paying for ads that do not. Advanced Matching is switched off, so we do not send Meta the contents of any form field.

Neither tool is used to make decisions about you, and we do not sell what either collects. You can change your mind at any time using the Privacy choices link in the footer. Declining stops the scripts loading on your next page view.

Do Not Track. Browsers vary in how they send a Do Not Track signal and there is no agreed standard for responding to it, so we do not rely on it. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal instead, and in any case nothing loads until you choose Accept.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you send through the contact form is encrypted in transit.

We keep administrative, technical and physical safeguards around the information we hold, and access is limited to the people who need it to do the work.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and any promise otherwise would be worth nothing. If a breach ever affected your information we would investigate it, act to contain it, and notify you and any regulator where the law requires.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you ask us to delete an enquiry we will.

Analytics data is retained on the schedule set in the relevant tool, and is held in aggregate rather than as a profile of you.

Records relating to clients are kept for the periods required by tax and accounting rules, which is longer and is set out in the client agreement.

Children

This site is for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

If you believe a child has given us information, email azam@aprecityconsultants.com and we will delete it.

Your choices and your rights

Email azam@aprecityconsultants.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to get a copy. We will confirm once it is done, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request.

Other states and countries grant similar rights. If yours does, exercise it at the same address and we will honour it rather than argue about which law applies.

You can also stop the analytics and advertising tools at any time using the Privacy choices link in the footer.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. If the change is significant, and you have consented to analytics, the consent banner will ask again rather than assume your earlier answer still stands.
